This concrete was brand new when it was colored with Kemiko's Malay Tan acid stain. A solvent-based sealer and wax top coat add extra protection to this floor.
Staintec El Gran Burrito in Riverside, CA got beautiful floor treatments a few years back. The existing concrete was a typical commercial slab that had seen a lot of wear and tear. However, the restaurant's theme is rustic Mexican, so Staintec decided to use the beat up concrete as a way to add character. The floor was stained with two coats of acid stain in an English coffee color. The floor was then sealed with a solvent based sealer and waxed.
