Santa Rosa, CA 95407

A quaint garden environment at this home in Santa Rosa was enhanced with a decorative concrete patio. The patios existing concrete was in bad condition. The existing concrete was prepped and then a textured cement based topping was hand troweled onto the surface. Color accents were then added to the concrete and a 4" handheld grinder was used to cut random saw cuts into the surface. These organic saw cuts create the appearance of natural stone. The patio was then sealed to add protection from the elements and use. A real brick border outlines the patio. This project has held up incredibly well, looking exactly the same today as it did when it was created nearly five years ago.

A. Pellizzari and Company Inc.
Palo Alto, CA 94306

This commercial patio in Palo Alto incorporates a variety of decorative techniques. The concrete was stamped with a basic texture stamp and saw cuts were made across the length and width of the patio. Tile was inlayed in square patterns which help to unite the Spanish style of the building with the patio. These techniques join together to create a patio that is beautiful and inviting.
