Diamond D Company
Capitola, CA 95010

This master bathroom in a home near Menlo Park, CA features a concrete countertop with integral sinks, as well as a concrete tub surround. Once the Jacuzzi tub and cabinets were installed in the bathroom, Diamond D Company came in and made templates.

Back in the shop, the templates were used to create custom molds and then the sinks and tub surround were cast. The tub surround was cast in there pieces to make transportation and installation easier. The countertop, featuring double integral wave sinks, was cast in two pieces. The homeowner requested a teal green color that Diamond D Company was able to match by mixing a variety of pigments.

Diamond D Company got involved with this project when they were working on a concrete floor for a high end builder out of Menlo Park. He liked their work and asked them to do a second job for him.

Boggs Construction
Emeryville, CA 94662

This European style open bath design is located within a master bedroom renovation in a private residence in Mill Valley, CA. The vertical concrete overlay on the walls was done using an Americrete Underlayment and 600 Resurfacer over a rolled Bituthane waterproofing process. It has a custom color concrete blend made from Americrete A-1000 stains mixed for a patina concrete overlay on the walls, floor, and tub surround. The addition of the concrete vanity counters finishes off this one-of-a-kind showpiece.
